Phaco Eye Surgery Artemis Hospita Delhi

Phaco eye surgeryy is done by propagating ultrasound waves through a special instrument into the eye to destroy the cataract. The cataract and the lens particles are later removed by suction. Finally an intraocular lens implant is placed into the lens capsule. Since this surgery is minimally invasive, it takes only about 20 minutes to complete it for one eye. In one session only one eye is corrected. However, no hospitalization is necessary and the patient is usually treated only as an outpatient.

That Phaco eye surgery works better than the conventional surgery for cataract is proven by American Academy of Ophthalmology, whose survey found out that nearly 95% of the patients were quite satisfied with the results. Phaco eye surgery is much preferred over the conventional method since it is more quicker, and its recovery is also speedier, and there are lesser complications involved.

With Phaco and Lasik making waves, the eye care scenario for patients in India is at its brightest best.
